Mental Health
Firstly, I would like to apologise for not posting to the website, or even the Instagram page as often as I would like. The reason is that I have been struggling with my mental health and it has made things more difficult for me to focus, contemplate and provide pieces for you to get something from. As a result I would like to take a few moments to write about mental health and provide some food for thought.

Teach a Man to Fish - Part 1
If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, if you teach a man to fish then he will feed himself for a lifetime. I wrote a post on this for the Instagram page a little while ago now and as I had postedit I felt that it was such a good message that I would expand on it here on the website. As I was thinking about what I was going to say and starting to write my initial piece I realised that the point is multifaceted when looked at from a Christian stand point, so I will be doing 3 posts on this, with the first one being feeding.

The Perception of Humanity
More people do good than bad. Is this a fact we know, a lie we tell ourselves or an aspiration of humanity? Since a well known tv presenter sadly committed suicide this month, I have been thinking about her situation and the wider situation of humanity. We will never know exactly what was going on in the presenters mind and why she chose to take that fateful act, there a number of things surrounding her life and most of them tended to appear in the media whether true or not. It gets you thinking of what the media portray, whether it be broadcast on television, radio, newspapers, magazines or online, even social media… there is so much media now and they have such a large voice reaching out into the world.

Work in Progress
We are all a work in progress, we are all on a journey to get somewhere and make something of ourselves a long the way whether that be a career or a skill we want to develop. It can be a scary thought and a long process, much like building this website. I am not technically minded despite living in the age we do. My computer skills are limited and I have never built a website before and looking at its first carnation, I'm sure you can tell. However I have trusted God in building one as a platform and a base to first announce the ministry I have been called to, in order that I can make a start on the things to come. I have listened to God and trusted Him in the fact that He has assigned a task and wants me to complete this within my life time.
